The Monavari Bros. laboratory is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the National Accreditation Center of Iran (NACI). An independent body has assessed our staff, equipment and test methods, and confirmed that the starter electrical-performance and power results we produce are accurate and reliable.
Every accreditation is bound to a defined scope: the products, tests and methods it covers, and the range within which it holds.
The upper limits the laboratory is accredited to test to — 12 V and 24 V starters alike.
The accreditation covers only the tests listed in this table. We publish the scope in full, exactly as the certificate states it.
The starter is mounted on the test bench and run under a range of loads, from no-load to locked. Current, voltage, speed and torque are recorded at each point to build the starter’s characteristic curves. Battery and cable internal resistance is included in the test circuit, so the test reflects how the starter actually works in a vehicle.
Starter power is measured by the method in Annex A of ISIRI 4144, giving a numerical result that quantifies the starter's performance.
The National Accreditation Center of Iran assesses the laboratory’s staff competence, equipment calibration, test methods and impartiality. The accreditation stays valid only through annual surveillance assessments.
Measuring equipment is calibrated with traceability, and tests follow the standard’s written methods — so repeating a test gives the same result.
NACI is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC-MRA), which supports acceptance of results from accredited laboratories across member economies.
